Crock Pot Beef Stew



1 pound of stewing beef

4 medium potatoes, diced

1 can diced tomatoes

2 cups of beef broth

1/2 cup chopped carrots

1/2 cup peas

1/2 green pepper

1/2 can black beans

3 chopped green onions

1/3 chopped white onion

1 small can of tomato paste

2 cloves garlic

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp parsley

1 tsp dill

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp salt

1 tbsp black pepper

1 tbsp smoked paprika


1. Put all the ingredients into the crock pot.  Cook on low for 7-8 hours.

2. With about 15 minutes left, in a small bowl, mix a tbsp of cornstarch with some water until it is a paste.  Add it to the stew and stir.  Recover and continue cooking for the 15 minutes.
