Banana Raspberry and Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients:

1 cup flour

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking powder

2 bananas, mashed

2 tbsp. milk

1 tsp. vanilla

1/4 cup margarine

2/3 cup sugar

1 egg

chocolate chips

Raspberry jam

 

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Farenheit.  In one bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.  In another bowl combine the banana, milk and vanilla.  In the last bowl, combine the melted margarine, sugar and egg.

2. Alternately add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.  Stir well.

3. Fold in chocolate chips (or for raspberry muffins: add the batter to the bottom of the muffin tin, put a 1/2 tsp of jam in the middle and put more batter on top to cover).  Bake for 20 minutes.
