3 medium sized potatoes, cut in half
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 garlic clove
1 tbsp parsley
salt and pepper
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Farenheit. Melt the butter, pour it into an 8 x 8 inch baking pan and spread evenly across the bottom.
2. Generously sprinkle the parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, parsley and crushed garlic clove. Place the potato halves face down on the butter and seasonings.
3. Place in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from the pan or the crust will come off.
4. If the crust does come off (mine has a few times!), you can spread a bit more butter and parmesan cheese on the tops of the potatoes and put back in the oven for a few minutes. It tastes just as delicious!
