Green Bean Crisps

Ingredients:

bag of fresh or frozen green beans

1 cup flour

2 tsp. garlic powder

2 tsp. paprika

1 tsp. onion powder

salt and pepper

1 egg

1 cup panko bread crumbs

 

1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  Meanwhile, on the stove top, cook green beans in boiling water (about 10 minutes).  Strain.

2. On one plate, mix flour, garlic, paprika, onion powder and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. In a bowl add the egg and stir.  Lastly, on one more plate spread out the panko bread crumbs, season with a bit more salt and pepper.

3. Dip the green beans in the flour mixture, then egg, then bread crumbs.  Put them on a greased baking sheet, cook in the oven for 15 minutes, or until the beans are crisp.  Dip in your favorite sauce.
