Healthy Peanut Butter Chocolate Oatmeal Bars



1/2 cup brown sugar

1 cup peanut butter

2 tsp. vanilla

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 cup oats

1 tsp. baking soda

1/4 tsp. salt

1/2 cup almond milk (or regular milk)

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup raisins (optional – you can add other mix ins)


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  Line a 8 x 8 baking dish with parchment paper or coat with cooking spray.

2. With a mixer, combine the brown sugar, vanilla and peanut butter.  Add the flour, oats, salt and baking soda.

3. Add the milk is a steady stream until it forms a dough.  Stir in the chocolate chips and the other mix ins if you choose to add.  Press the dough into the baking dish and bake for about 17-20 minutes.

4. After it is done baking, you can add melted chocolate on top.
