1/2 pound of whole wheat spaghetti
2 cups broccoli, frozen or steamed
2 cups cooked chicken
2 tbsp. butter
7 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup milk
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1.Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook the noodles according to package instructions.
2.In a saucepan, melt the butter then add the flour and salt. Stir so it combines and heat for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth.
3. Stirring the mixture constantly, bring it to a boil, turn down the heat and simmer for a few more minutes until it thickens. Remove it from the heat and stir in the milk and parmesan.
4. When the noodles are done cooking, mix the noodles, broccoli, chicken and sauce together in a bowl. Spread it in a casserole dish and bake covered in the oven for 20 minutes. Top with mozzarella if you choose.
